Phil Buckridge, Editor-in-Chief – Phil exploded on to the writing scene back in 2002 when a letter he sent to the Penthouse Forum was published and met with universal praise and acclaim. The letter, which detailed Phil’s totally true encounter with a much older and more experienced woman who didn’t speak English, but schooled him in the ways of love, is regarded as one of the finest descriptive passages of lovemaking that’s even been set to paper. Phil graduated from UC-Larely in 2004 with a degree in Dendrochronology and was named Editor-in-Chief of The Larely Beagle in 2008.
Wally Hayes, Staff Writer – Wally is the newest writer at the Larely Beagle. He too attended UC-Larely, graduating in 2008 with a degree in Appalachian Studies. He was hired by the Larely Beagle in the Fall of 2008 as a ringer for the company softball team, but his positive attitude and exceptionally neat handwriting led to his transition into the writing department. Wally comes to work everyday pledging to report the news with 110% effort and 65% accuracy.
Keith Camshaft, Opinion Columnist – Keith is the resident auto expert here at the Larely Beagle. After nearly thirty years of boosting luxury cars he was recently named President of the Larely Car Boosting and Joyride Club [LCBJRC]. He was also able to further hone his craft while serving time behind bars for grand theft auto. Coincidentally, it was his answering of fan mail that got him noticed in the writing community, and he came on board at the Larely Beagle the day after he was granted parole.
Toddrick Powell, Opinion Columnist – The Larely Beagle is very lucky to have a legal mind like Toddrick’s on the team. After graduating at the top his class from UC-Larely’s prestigious school of law, Toddrick became one of the most sought after attorneys in Larely. He boasts a 98% overall acquittal rate, and a 100% acquittal rate in DUI cases. Powell was also thrust into the national spotlight after his “Middle Name was Too Lame” defense got Peter Nate Herbert acquitted in the 2005 killing of then Larely Mayor Rich Rundell.
