Vanessa Hudgens: “If Perfect Movie Role or Perfect Cellphone / Mirror Photo-Op Arose, I would Consider Doing Nudity”

Hollywood, CA – Male hearts across Larely were set aflutter today when popular young actress Vanessa Hudgens revealed that if the perfect movie role, or perfect cellphone/mirror photo-op arose, she would consider doing nudity.
In an interview that will be published in this week’s “Larely Weekender”, Hudgens told Beagle reporter Chad Haskell, “First and foremost, I am an artist. It’s not like I’d just be willing to strip down for some raunchy comedy. It’d have to be an artistic, heartfelt, most likely indie flick to get me to even consider it. If one of those came my way and I felt that nudity was integral to both the storyline and the character, I’d definitely consider it. The same goes for using my cell phone camera to take naked pictures of myself in the mirror. I’m not just going to do it in some hotel room like a cheap myspace floozy. It’d have to be in an intimate, unkept bedroom with Christmas lights and candles spread across it, and pictures of pandas and tropical islands decorating the walls. A conspicuously placed Louis Vuitton handbag would be a nice touch too.”
The decision, while extremely difficult, has long been commonplace for young actresses trying to make the transition from “child star” to “adult actress”. If Hudgens should decide to disrobe for the camera, she would be in the company of other former child star/adult actresses like Drew Barrymore, Lisa Bonet, Maureen McCormick, Tatum O’Neal, and Christina Ricci, to name a few.
Many in Hollywood think that Hudgens’ willingness to consider nudity could serve her well as she tries to place some distance between herself and “Gabriella Montez”, her character from the “High School Musical” series that she’s been playing for the past few years.
According to a high profile producer who requested to remain anonymous, “A little skin could be perfect to help her build some buzz. Whether that’s in a movie, or in the perfect cellphone/mirror self portrait doesn’t matter to me. In fact, the latter of the two could be huge if it were conveniently leaked out about a week before she had a movie coming out.”
Hudgens will next be seen in the movie “Bandslam”, which hits theaters in about a week.
