Larely, CA – In a study initially intended to gauge young women’s opinions toward misogynistic rap songs before and after alcohol consumption, a professor at UC-Larely seems to have accidentally stumbled upon a mysterious phenomenon that she is unable to explain. Apparently, after a girl has two drinks, she suddenly and mysteriously knows all the words to the Eazy-E song “Gimmie That Nutt”.

Deborah Higgins, a Women’s Studies professor at UC-Larely designed the study after she began noticing that young women’s opinions toward misogynistic rap songs tended to change following the consumption of alcohol. In an effort to find out just how much change was occurring, she set up a study where girls answered a questionnaire about misogynistic rap lyrics, consumed two alcoholic beverages, listened to a short section of a song, then answered another questionnaire. At the recommendation of a colleague, she chose Eazy-E’s “Gimmie That Nutt” as the song to use.

The first part of the study went exactly as expected. What Higgins found after the subjects consumed alcohol, however, no one could have seen coming. “I was thinking they might become a little more tolerant of the hurtful messages toward women” she said, “but never in my wildest dreams did I expect this. As soon as the subject finished her second Smirnoff Ice and heard one note of the song, she would stand up and scream out something like ‘Open wide, now don’t you waste it. Ahh shit, all over your face, kid.’ or ‘In some pussy is the place to be. Always fuckin’ is the life for me!’ It was as equally mindblowing as it was depressing, as these were girls that absolutely reviled Eazy-E before they consumed any alcohol. Even crazier is the fact women who had never even heard of the song before they consumed alcohol were reciting its lyrics with 100% accuracy.”

The study findings were also troubling to Barbara Richards, who is the head of Larely’s chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Women (NAAW). She told reporters that “It’s no secret the Eazy-E’s lyrics are demeaning to women and the fact that they’ve been able to penetrate and infect all women at an unconscious level just shows us the level of filth we’re dealing with. Women need to know that the words ‘I’ll turn it out, while I’m riding that ass scream and shout. My name is the same, just another pussy that I had to tame’ is offensive whether they’ve imbibed alcohol or not.”
