Cypress Hill’s Sen Dog Coughs Out Remainder of Bong Hit Taken in 1993

South Gate, CA – The music and medical worlds collided at a South Gate, CA hospital today when Sen Dog, a former member of the rap group Cypress Hill, coughed out the remainder of a bong hit that was taken in 1993.

The incident occurred at Sacred Heart hospital, where Sen had gone to be seen by a doctor after experiencing what he thought was a severe case of heart burn.

Dr. Dave Caldwell, who was the on-duty physician at the emergency room that night, said “He came in with symptoms sounding like it was a strong case of heart burn. He also said it felt as though the symptoms were presenting themselves in the back of his throat, so I grabbed a tongue depressor and went in for a closer look. As soon as I got the depressor on his tongue, he coughed, and out came this cloud of stale, awful smelling pot smoke.”

Nodding in agreement, Sen Dog added, “As soon as I smelled the smoke I knew exactly what hit it was because I’ve only smoked that kind of pot once in my life. It was some ‘Light of Jah’, which is a sativa haze hybrid that will blow your mind.”

Elaborating on the experience in which the bong hit was taken, Sen remarked, “It was 1993, and we were in the recording studio working on ‘Black Sunday’.  Right after I finished laying down my vocal on ‘Hits From the Bong’ [fellow band member] B-Real filled up the six footer for me. I walked up to it and cleared it like a champ, but when I exhaled, it felt like only three or four feet worth of smoke came out. I guess the rest of it had just been chilling inside me since that day.”

Though it sounds farfetched, Dr. Caldwell says it isn’t terribly uncommon for bong hits to become trapped inside of someone for days, weeks, or even years. “The very nature of a bong allows for some very large hits to be taken, and sometimes they just become trapped in your chest. Once all the THC gets absorbed out of it, it doesn’t really do much other than just sit and wait to be freed. And today was that day for Sen.”

    I’ve burped up the remainder of a bong hit a while after a smoking session before, but it’s usually only an hour or so later after guzzling some Baja Blast from Taco Bell. A cloud of smoke chilling inside you for a decade and a half sounds a little far-fetched.

    sacred heart does exist jackass . just cuz they used the name on a tv show doesnt mean it isn’t real . sacred heart hospital , and medical group serve north Florida and south Alabama . maybe even other places that i’m unaware of
