Los Angeles, CA – Kanye West’s ego announced today that it will soon be stepping out from the shadows of Kanye West and releasing its own solo album. The album, which will be released on Roc-A-Fella Records, is slated to be released sometime next year.

When reached for a quote, Kanye’s ego said “I’m sick and tired of being stuck behind Kanye when everyone knows that I’m the real reason for his success. I mean, when Kanye gets on a track, it’s decent. But when I get on the track, I completely ee-nihilate that shit. I’ll eat it and rip it in half. I have, like, nuclear power, like a superhero, like Cyclops when he puts his glasses on. Kanye ain’t shit next to me and it’s time to shake the world to its core with the release of my solo album.”

Kanye’s ego also predicts that the album “Is gonna create world peace. As soon as that shit gets played over some loudspeakers warring factions will all drop their guns so they can throw up their hands for my songs. In fact, write this shit down: ‘When my album drops, it will create peace in the Middle East, end world hunger, and usher in a new era where everyone loves everyone.’”

Though it hasn’t released any previous solo albums, Kanye’s ego is far from a rookie in the world of rap music. It has made numerous public appearances over the years, most notably at the MTV Europe Music Awards when it stormed the stage and proceeded to complain that it, not Justice and Simian, should have won the award for Best Video. Kanye’s ego also makes appearances in every interview Kanye sits down for.

Experienced or not, Kanye’s ego will have some large shoes to fill as the previous albums on which it had collaborated with Kanye have gone 2x platinum [2004’s The College Dropout], 3x platinum [2005’s Late Registration], and 3x platinum [2007’s Graduation].

However, industry execs are optimistic Kanye’s ego can pull it off. They note that it has already made a few shrewd moves to enlist some help with the album as T.I.’s swagger, Lil’ Wayne’s tattoos, Nelly’s Band-aid, and Jay-Z’s clothing line are all rumored to be making guest appearances on the record.
