Larely, CA – Comcast cable subscribers in Larely received a heartfelt apology from Comcast CEO Brian Roberts today after an Adult Pay Per View film was accidentally interrupted with footage from the fourth quarter of Sunday’s Super Bowl game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals.

The incident occurred fifty five minutes into the film “New Faces Tight Places 7” and it showed the Arizona Cardinals notching a safety after a holding penalty was called in the end zone on Pittsburgh offensive lineman Justin Hartwig.

As soon as the Super Bowl footage began airing, Comcast’s phones were lit up by thousands of calls from angry customers who had been watching “New Faces…”. One of those angry customers was Norm Gilmore, a forty five year old plumber that lives in Larely. “I’m a huge fan of the ‘New Faces Tight Places’ series. I’ve seen the first six installments of it over a hundred times. So you can imagine my excitement when the seventh installment was added to the pay per view menu on Sunday morning. My wife and kids were going to a Super Bowl Party, so I knew I’d have plenty of time to watch it that afternoon. Needless to say, I was pretty pumped. The first fifty-five minutes were all I had hoped it would be, but then everything was ruined by Comcast. I’ve never been so offended in my life.”

Local radio DJ Tod Rockett was also one of the many upset customers. And not only did he call and complain, he also devoted the first thirty minutes of his show on KLRY to the issue, saying, “I thought that it was a commercial at first, but then I realized that one, this was pay per view and there shouldn’t be any commercials, and two, that the guy was just about to blow his load and nobody would cut to a commercial at such a crucial part of the film. By the time they switched back to the movie, the money shot had been delivered and the male star and camera crew were off to find more new faces. It’s the only time I’ve ever gotten blue balls from a porno and I’ve been checking with attorneys to see if I should file suit against Comcast for the pain and suffering I endured as a result.”
